                and the test switch is at NORMAL FLIGHT (see
                para. 18(f) (iv)).  Check that the hood locking
                pointers are in line with their spigots.
                
          (ii)  Strap in, adjust the rudder pedals and then make
                the main and emergency oxygen and anti-G suit
                connections, have the radio plug connected and both
                of the seat safety pins removed and stowed.
          
     (b)  Cockpit checks
          
          NOTE.-The starred items are directly connected with
                engine starting.
                
          *Battery master switch     ON-ensure that turn and
