                                                  ADMINISTRATION.
In this last month of squadron flying, aircraft serviceability has probably been at
its best ever.

                                                 OPERATIONAL.
June 1957 ranks as a further disbandment date in No. 98 Squadron's history.
Previous disbandments have probably met with just as many misgivings as the present.
one but the future does not look quite so bright for any future reforming.
Perhaps again the number "98" will rank again in the future Royal Air Force, we the
present members of No. 98 Squadron hope so.
To review June the Squadrons' last month shows considerable activity to the last
day.
The Whitsun Grant cut nearly a week out of this month.   The first event
of note in the month was the squadrons' participation in the wing fly-past for
Anglo German Week.   Four rehearsals were held for this with the final show held on
June, 19th.   For a period of four days succeeding this the squadron was engaged on
Battle Flight duty.   During the last week of the month three further fly-pasts
were flown.   Two of these were rehearsals and the last the fly-past for the C in C
Air Marshall Sir E.H. Edwards - Jones.
The last two days flying were devoted to farewell flypasts over 2 T.A.F.
airfields and a final twelve aircraft flypast over Jever on June, 29th.
