* A governor on the engine-driven fuel pump restricts the r.p.m. to 14,500 at sea level but with the throttle fully open r.p.m. may increase progressively to 14,700 with height. Oil pressures Minimum for idling ... ... ... 5 lb./sq, in. Minimum at 14,100 r.p.m. and above ... 30 lb./sq, in. 46. Flying limitations (a) The aircraft is designed for the duties of an advanced fighter trainer. Practice spinning up to two turns is per- mitted when the aircraft is clean, or when the ventral tank is fitted but empty (see para.63). Maximum rate turns and other manoeuvres involving high G are prohibited when there is fuel in the ventral tank. WARNING.-It is possible to cause excessive G loading by flying the aircraft out of trim.
