Report on a Visit to German Air Force Jever by Mick Ryan, Chris Stone, Gunter Kipp and Maurice Parker on Tuesday/Wednesday 16/17th August 2005                                            3. On the way we passed a few familiar buildings for example the old Astra cinema.   The German Air Force continued                      with it for a few years as a cinema but videos and TV reduced attendance until it had to closed.   I have been reminded                      that whilst this is the "Old Astra Cinema" to me, there was one before it located about half a mile up the road outside                      the camp gates on the way to Jever.    (Thanks Mick Ryan).
