Visiting Dakotas supporting a Danish F-84F Squadron visit, parked on 2 Sqn pan. Mervyn points out that the Swift behind has an auxiliary hydraulic rig connected and air bottles. As an ex-airframe mechanic, he says this probably means that there is a problem with either the Swift's flaps (e.g. flap creep), or flying controls requiring investigation and that functioning checks are taking place.
(Thanks to Mervyn Hodsonand Guy Claughton photographer.)
