92. Releasing demolition bombs
(i) Set: Gun safety switch SIGHT CAMERA RADAR

(ii) Depress the electrical caging button before commencing
the dive. Begin tracking run, release the caging push-
button, and for automatic bomb release, press the bomb
release button. Track smoothly and keep the centre
dot on the target. If on AUTO RELEASE, the bombs
will automatically drop as the graticule circle image
disappears. If on MANUAL RELEASE, press the
bomb release button as the image disappears.
93. Releasing fragmentation bombs
(i) Set: Demolition bomb MANUAL RELEASE

Fragmentation ALL TRAIN or SINGLE

on)
(ii) To release bombs, press the bomb release button and
hold in until the fragmentation bomb indicator light goes
out indicating that the last bomb has been released.
94. Rockets
(i) Eight rockets may be carried under each wing on four
launchers each holding two rockets, one above the other.
(ii) A rocket release selector (123) on the armament panel
has OFF, SINGLE and AUTO positions. When at
SINGLE, one rocket is fired each time the bomb/rocket
release button is pressed; when at AUTO all rockets are
released in train (from each wing in turn) if the release
button is held in. Automatic firing stops when the button
