	  48.   Cockpit checks
	        On entering the cockpit carry out the following checks:-
	               ITEM                           CHECK
	        Ejection seat gun and        Remove and stow on seat
	          canopy jettison gun          between pilot and

	        Have the ground starter plugged in and switched on.
	        Start from the left console and work clockwise round
	        the cockpit.
