93 Sqn Linebook No. 2 - Page 37 The press clippings reporting on the success of the USAF Air Show at Spangdahlem.   The caption to the picture reads: "Attendance figures crashed through to a new all-time high at Spangdahlem Air Base last Saturday on Armed Forces Day.   A noon-time photo taken from an 53rd Air Rescue Helicopter shows part of the record breaking, 50,000 plus side (upper picture, extreme left slice), while (left to right in top row) a huge C-124 Globemaster, the German Parade Band from Bonn, and "fire-ups" of RB-57s were among some of the top attractions at the show.   In lower photos (left to right), many distinguished visitors in the main reviewing stand included Maj Gen Robert M.
