Captain "Chunky" I'Anson was a pilot on 112 Squadron at Jever around 1952. He was also well known later on as a PAI at Sylt. After leaving the RAF he went in to civilian flying. He died in an aricraft accident on 20 July70. The Civil Aviation Report on the accident follws:
