On the 30Jun16 Susan wrote:   "I'm a children's author, living in Germany, and I have written what could well be the only children's book set on an RAF station in Germany in the 1950s.   It's the second in a series of books, which are retro 'Boy's Own' style adventures about a 21st century boy who goes back in time for all sorts of derring-do with his Grandpop, an RAF pilot.   'Trouble in Teutonia' features a Meteor PR Squadron, and is set in 1957.   The stories were inspired by my dad, who is unfortunately no longer with us - Wg Cdr N.R. 'Micky' Moss.   He was never stationed in Germany, but a good chum of his, Brian Ashley, was.   Sadly, Brian passed away too last year but was an invaluable technical advisor for me."
