For those of you who were not brave enough to ignore the Station Standing Orders which forbade RAF Personnel from entering the St Annentor establishment in downtown Jever, here is a postcard advertising the attractions of the place.   I presume that the dance floor with the square patterns is the notorious "Glass Dance Floor" so often mentioned.   Just received a comment from Bob Platt: "This bar was, I think, known by the lads as the TK (tits and knickers).   (Trevor Pailing tells me that it's nickname in German was also TK - Titn Keller.)   It was out of bounds but I went in once for a quick reccy.   It had a glass dance floor with lights underneath.   At the time there was no one in the place so I had a quick beer and left.   Bob Platt   (SAC instruments 2sqn 1960)
(Thanks to Colin Pratt and Bob Platt.)
