George was told that the sugar loaf shaped building in this Wilhemshaven harbour view was an air raid shelter.   There was also a similar structure near Jever railway station, can anyone confirm? - 1954.   Ken Senar confirms in his book, [Click to see.], that these were air raid shelters.   The previous photo (Click to see) is of a round structure near the Railway Station, but it has windows in it and it looks like the converted base of a windmill.   (Thanks to George Englefield-Bishop.)
