Marcus Christ reports: "I have just found an edition of the "Sixth Sense"(Official BFBS Radio, SSVC TV & Cinema Guide) from 1991. This proofs that there was a tiny transmitter just in front of the main gates of the base.  I can tell you that I have learned my English with BFBS Radio.  The reception area was very limited (Base and Jever town).  For example, you could not listen to this radio station in Wilhelmshaven.  Sadly this transmitter was dismantled a few years later (1993?)" - 3Jan91.
