Thanks to Jimmy Randle we have learnt the sad news that Squadron Leader Dave Todman died on 4th March 2011 at Chirk, near Wrexham, and was buried in Worcester on 24th March 2011.   Jimmy tells us that he was aware of this site,and they spent many a happy hour perusing the pages, reminiscing about the past and chatting of friends in the R.A.F. 98 Sqn pilot and ex-guardsman.   23Nov55 to May57. 2nd April 2011 Nancy West. Thanks to Jayne Tydeman, her daughter, we have learnt the sad news that Nancy Rosemary West (nee Browne) the wife of Gp Capt "Hammer" West, OC 122 Wing and founder of Jever Steam Laundry, died at Staplehurst on 2nd April 2011, aged 91, after a long illness bravely borne. Beloved wife of the late Group Captain C S (John) West, DFC; much loved mother of Jane and Bobbie; and Nona to 5 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren. Funeral Service at All Saints Church, Biddenden, Kent at 2pm on Friday 15th April. Thanks to Wilf Crutchley we have learnt the sad news that Sergeant Ron Hardy died on 7th November 2011.   Ron is to be cremated at Bretby (Burton on Trent, Staffs) crematorium on Tuesday 15 November at 1545.   Family flowers only.
