1.    This is the circuit breaker referred to in Eric Pigdon's 93 Sqn story about undercarriage continuously re-cycling.   When this occurred the solution was to pull this circuit breaker when the aircraft reached the undercarriage locked up part of the cycle.

    However, as you can see from this view and the Figure 4 Rearward View, this circuit breaker was behind your left hip on the cockpit wall outboard of the Anti-g pressure selector valve (No. 99 in Figure 4 which can also be seen in the bottom left corner of this view).

    To get round this problem of finding, reaching and pulling this circuit breaker at the right moment, pilots tied a short length of string round the head of this circuit breaker so that they could identify and pull it quickly.
