(e) Gun firing

NOTE.-1. If the guns are fired, with airbrake OUT at
speeds above 550 knots a limited number of
ejected case strikes on the airbrake will be
experienced; such firing should therefore be
confined to cases of operational necessity.

350 knots without Mod. 645 embodied.
150 knots with Mod. 645 embodied.

A.L.2 (f) Bomb release and jettison
Para. 56 (f) 2X1,000 lb. bombs may be carried, on inboard pylons
Page 49 only, released or jettisoned at all speeds and dive angles
up to 590 knots and 60° respectively. There is no mach
number limitation, but pilots are warned against commit-
ting their aircraft to dives which will result in exceeding
0.9M without sufficient height for pullout, in view of the
deterioration in longitudinal control above this speed
