The high trees and bushes that once surrounded the Officers Mess have also been cleared and the Mess now has its own Gate Gardian.   38+28 - GAF F-4F Phantom was the last aircraft to be serviced by the MU at Jever in the early part of 2012.   This aircraft has now taken up a position near the entrance to the OM - 16Dec14.   (Thanks to Maurice Parker.)
