Report on a Visit to German Air Force Jever by Mick Ryan, Chris Stone, Gunter Kipp and Maurice Parker

                      81. Inside Hangar 1 we found a grey GAF Phantom with greyed USAF markings.   We were told that this was probably
                      one of the Phantoms which belonged to the GAF but were used in the USA to train the GAF crews.   The old 4 Sqn
                      crewroom was reputedly in the opposite back corner to the one in the photograph.   We looked in several rooms but
                      they were all immaculately finished in white, much as the inside of the hangar, and we found no trace of any murals.
                      Our hosts asked a German worker in one of the back rooms who said he had been working at Jever since the middle
                      60s but had never heard of any murals.   (Thanks Mick Ryan).
