Report on a Visit to German Air Force Jever by Mick Ryan, Chris Stone, Gunter Kipp and Maurice Parker on Tuesday/Wednesday 16/17th August 2005      The Officers and Sergeant's Messes had been closed since the operational squadrons moved out last month.   Everyone ate in the new airmens' mess and the food was excellent.                                              67. The new all ranks mess is on the left.   This Building, Number 168, was originally built in 2003 for the airmen.                       The Building in the background on the right is Number 35 which I believe was a pre-war 1936 airman's barrack block                       in our day.   (Thanks Mick Ryan).
