93 Sqn Linebook No. 2 - Page 56 Recognise him in his best blue?   News-clipping says: Gorilla to tea - Mr John Aspinall's pet gorilla which he keeps at his Kent home, was taken out to tea in Canterbury last week.   Clinging to the back of a woman member of Mr Aspinall's staff, the gorilla went into a fashionable tea house.   Two or three customers left immediately in some disorder.   The reaction of other customers the proprietress tells me varied between "surprised and pained".   She adds; "There was no need for me to take any action as the gorilla was extremely well-behaved all the time.   Anyway, I have no rules banning gorillas from the tea-rooms.   It certainly loved the home-made cakes."   Caption under the centre picture: "It has an ape-like face , manlike limbs, proably walks semi-erect.   It has a larger jaw and a higher brow than apes."   Final caption: "If you saw this evil man it would be the last face you ever saw!"   Anyone able to identify the photo?   (Thanks to RAF Museum.)
