Hunter F6 XG263 G arrived on 4 Sqn on Monday 11 Mar 1957 left on Monday 20Feb61 for 19 MU.   Its first flight was on 1Nov56 flown by Duncan Simpson.   Delivered 3Dec56 to 5MU Kemble, then 4Sqn 11Mar57, to 19MU on 20Feb61, Transferred to Jordanian Air Force from Jun62 to Oct62.

Hunter F.6 XG297 Y arrived on 4 Sqn on Friday 15Mar57 and left on Tuesday 3Jan61   It was first flown by Duncan Simpson on 3Dec56; after 4 sqn it went to Hawker Siddeley Aviation to be converted to FGA9 installing a full tropical kit, gun blast deflectors, stronger inboard pylons, Explosive Release Units on the outboard pylons, braking parachute and fitting an Avon 207 engine.   Delivered to 20 Sqn on 19Sep61 still as Y, then 28 Sqn as B at Kai Tak in 1962.   Purchased by HSA 8Mar76 as G9-452, 3,099 hrs awaiting disposal Jul79.   Nose section owned by Bill Fern and displayed at the South Yorkshire Aviation Museum, Firbeck, Lakeside and Leisure Complex, Aeroventure, Doncaster. Displayed at cockpitfest Newark.   (Thanks to John Farley.)
