4 Sqn Vampire FB5 VV638 at high altitude.   This is probably Norman Giffin's aircraft as it is silver when the rest of the Squadron were nearly all camouflaged.   Ken Richardson was flying this aircraft on 9Dec53 when it caught fire near Lamden.   Ken rolled inverted and pushed himself clear.
