Some of 4 Sqn Hunter F.6s taxying out of the line.   The shadow of the tail of the Hunter ahead can be seen on the left.   Looks like Summer with short shadows?   The Hunter F.6 just leaving the line is U XJ637. Used in Battle Flight Scramble incident by Pete Jennings. (Click to see another picture). First flight by Hugh Mereweather on 3Jan57, arrived on 4 Sqn 5Mar57 and then to 2 Sqn on 4Jan61, followed by 229 OCU in 64 , RNAS Brawdy Oct76, finally TWU/234 Sqn as No. 30 77.   (Thanks to Pete Jennings)
